Jailed AIADMK leader V.K.Sasikala has sought for 10 days time for filing an elaborate affidavit explaining her stand before the Justice Arumughasamy Commission probing into the hospitalization and death of former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa. She sought permission to send all relevant documents by speed post. Her counsel said that he needed 7 days time for cross examination of the witnesses who deposed against his client.
A host of people including former advisor Sheela Balakrishnan, former chief secretary Rama Mohan Rao, Jayalalithaa’s former personal assistant Poonkundran have already appeared before the commission and shared information.
