Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Indian Americans Ricky Kej and Falguni Shah on Twitter for winning Grammy Awards and wished them the very best in all their future endeavours.
While Falguni Shah won the Best Children’s Music Album, Ricky Kej won a prize in the Best New Age Album category.
Ricky Kej was astounded and literally speechless to see the PM’s tweet and he responded thanking the Prime Minister. He won his second Grammy for the album Divine Tides along with rock legend Stewart Copeland. He hopes that one day he will get to collaborate with his good friend AR Rahman
Falguni Shah won the award for her album A Colourful World. She took to Instagram to share the happy news.
The 64th edition of the Grammy Awards ceremony was held in Las Vegas.
