Indian Grandmaster Praggnanandhaa defeated Magnus Carlsen for the second time this year. He stunned the Norwegian at the Chessable Masters online rapid chess tournament.
The teenager from India was lucky and won after Carlsen made a one move blunder. Pragg and Carlsen met in the 5th round of the Chessable Masters tournament on Friday and Pragg kept his chances alive of progressing to the knockout stage after this win.

The match was actually heading for a draw but a blunder from Carlsen where he misplaced his black knight in the 40th move enabled Pragg to win the game.
Earlier Pragg defeated Carlsen in February at Airthings Masters online rapid chess tournament with black pieces.
However, in April he lost to Carlsen 3-0 in a best of four contest at the Oslo Exports Cup.
