Actor Dileep’s residence in Aluva, his production house Grand Cinemas as well as his brother’s home were raided by crime branch officials in search of evidence pertaining to the actor assault case. After the thirteen hour raid, mobile phones, hard disk and iPads were confiscated. The evidence hence collected is to be submitted before court which has been adjourned and the verdict is expected to be declared on 20th of February 2022, five years after the brutal assault of the victim in a moving car.

The raid was being held after director Balachandrakumar gave his statement alleging that Dileep owned a gun that he didn’t have license for. The director also submitted digital evidence and audio clips which he claims connects the actor to the incident. It has been alleged that Pulsar Suni who is the main accused committed the crime on Dileep’s behest. While Dileep has denied all allegations, the investigation is underway and more details would be revealed in the coming days.
