NOT MIFF-ED BY THE RABBIT HABIT

When I get back home after a long day,
amid the barks and the quacks,
I sense a gentle nudge accompanied with an equally  gentle tug at my pants way below my knees.
I know it’s good old Miffy, our four year old rabbit, trying to gently win my attention.
Her nudge is preceded by small runs she does around my feet in semi circles, which I guess is a gesture of welcoming me back home with a dance.
I have to be careful and wait till she is done and then cautiously take the next step forward in any direction, lest I accidentally knock her.
With pets, you are guaranteed a good day full of barks, quacks, tugs, runs, and of course, a welcome dance back home.
