According to Health Ministry sources, more than 150 crore of Covid-19 vaccine doses have been administered in India. This 150 crore milestone was reached yesterday and Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya called it a ”historic development” that was achieved due to the hard work of healthcare workers under the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Around 91 per cent of the adult population have received at least one dose and over 66 per cent have received both doses of the vaccine. Over 22 percent of adolescents have received the first dose of the vaccine since the vaccination for this age group began on January 3.
