Mohanlal took to his social media page to make the announcement
The National award winning film Marakkar Arabikadalinte Simham has been stalling its release ever since the pandemic began. The film directed by Priyadarshan and produced by Aashirvad Cinema is a multi starrer with Mohanlal in the lead along with Pranav Mohanlal, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Manju Warrier, Keerthy Suresh, Suhasini, Siddique among others.
Mohanlal took to his social media page to announce that the film hopes to have a theatrical release for Onam and the date of release has been fixed for August 12th, 2021. He requested fans and well wishers for their support and prayers. Producer Antony Perumbavoor also revealed that he hoped that the film would have a worldwide release for Onam.
