Superstar Rajinikanth”s wife Latha has been asked to pay dues of Rs 6.2 crore with interest within 12 weeks to the Ad Bureau firm regarding selling rights of the film Kochadaiiyaan. Rajini’s celebrity status did not give him immunity to honour financial deals.
This dispute has been going on for the past 4 years and the firms CMD has been running from pillar to post seeking justice. The money has to be refunded by Media One Global Entertainment of which Latha is one of the directors.
