The Duchess of Cambridge received her first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine at London’s Science Museum. She posted on Instagram that she was grateful to everyone playing a part in the rollout.

Kate was dressed in a cream coloured short sleeved sweater and a pair of Jeans when she went to receive her shot. Her husband Prince William, who battled Covid-19 last year, received his vaccine earlier this month at the Science Museum. They are one of the last few in their family to get vaccinated. Prince Charles and his wife Camilla were vaccinated in February while Queen Elizabeth and her late husband Prince Philip received their shots in January.
Prince Harry and his wife Meghan are doing their bit to encourage people to receive their dose of vaccine in the US where 40% of people have been fully vaccinated. Meghan, who is pregnant, even gave a virtual speech on the economic impact of Covid-19. She said ” Since the pandemic began, nearly five -and-a half million women have lost work in the US. And 47 million more women around the world are expected to slip into extreme poverty.” She encouraged countries to donate vaccines to other nations in need.
