Actress Richa Chadda feels India worships several goddesses but ill-treats its women.
Richa was speaking at a discussion on Gender Based Violence in India and said here violence against women starts in the womb and that we need to overcome this negative attitude towards women. Richa feels that it is crucial to enlighten women on issues that concern them and to boost their confidence levels so that they can achieve whatever they wish to.
