India administers 100 crore Covid-19 vaccine doses and creates milestone

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has asserted that India now has a strong, protective shield to combat the biggest pandemic in 100 years by administering more than 100 crore vaccine doses of Covid-19 vaccine.


He hailed this landmark and visited Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital and held interactions with healthcare and frontline workers and also with the people who came to take the vaccine.
While speaking via video conferencing after the inauguration of the Infosys Foundation Vishram Sadan at the National Cancer Institute on the Jhajjar Campus of AIIMS New Delhi, he stated that the day 21 st of October has been recorded in history. He expressed his gratitude to doctors, nurses and all those who worked to achieve this feat.
