The virtual fund raiser will stream online to raise funds to fight Covid
As the country braces itself for the worst with the second wave causing havoc like never before, our stars have decided to join hands to have a virtual fund raiser to help covid patients and the poor and the needy. Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Abhishek Bachchan, Samantha Akkineni, Genelia and Ritesh Deshmukh, Shekhar Kapoor, Karan Johar are some of the actors who have come forward for this noble gesture. The program will be hosted by Lara Dutta and Shyamal Vallabhjee and will be streamed on Facebook, Instagram and Youtube on May 9th, 2021. The funds thus raised will be used to procure oxygen cylinders, medical supplies and to help Covid patients and their families.
