Prince Harry and his wife Meghan joined the royal family at the Platinum Jubilee service for Queen Elizabeth’s record breaking 70 years on the throne. It is their first public appearance in two years in Britain. The Queen received congratulatory messages on her record breaking reign from leaders all over the world.

There were cheers for Harry and Meghan from the crowd outside St. Paul’s Cathedral. Harry was dressed in a suit with military medals and Meghan wore an off-white dress with a matching hat. Around 2,000 people attended the service that ended with trumpet fanfares and the national anthem ”God Save the Queen.” However, the Queen pulled out of the service due to discomfort.
The 96 year old Queen is said to have watched the service on television and is said to have problems standing and walking due to which she had to cancel many engagements.
The queen’s heir, Prince Charles, took the salute from troops on horseback.
