The makers of Atrangi Re recently announced that the film starring Dhanush, Sara Ali Khan, and Akshay Kumar, will hit theatres on August 6, 2021. The film that went on floors in March 2020, was among the many productions that were halted due to the coronavirus-induced lockdown. The team picked up where they left off in December 2020 and wrapped up filming well in time before the new year.

The Aanand L Rai directorial was initially slated to hit theatres on February 14, 2021, on the occasion of Valentine’s Day. Atrangi Re marks the first time collaboration between Sara and Dhanush.
