The court dismissed the petition calling it a publicity stunt

Bollywood actor Juhi Chawla has been a strong environmentalist raising environmental issues and voicing her concerns openly.  Recently, she had filed a petition in the Delhi High Court against 5G Network providers stating that if 5G is implemented, there is a threat of radiation that might cause considerable damage to all living things and thus damaging the environment. Once the court scheduled a hearing for the case, the actor is said to have shared the online link to fans on her social media page inviting fans and well wishers to join the hearing.

Fans started singing popular songs of the actor during the hearing which annoyed Justice JR Midha. Though the mischief makers were initially removed from the meeting, once a third person started to sing, the court ordered contempt notice against the fan. The court declared that before filing a petition, the actor should have approached the Government of India as it concerned the telecom policy. It dismissed the petition saying that it is a publicity stunt by the plaintiffs and slapped a fine of 20 lakh.
