Deepika Padukone announces third edition of Frontline Assist!

All proceeds are to go towards the emotional welfare of our frontline workers

Deepika Padukone has been very open about her battle with depression. She started the foundation Live Love Laugh to build awareness about mental health issues and support mental health patients. Recently she was on the KBC show with Amitabh Bachchan when she again spoke about how she battled depression. “I didn’t feel like going to work or meeting anybody. I did not want to go out. I didn’t feel like doing anything. Many times, I don’t know if I should say this but I didn’t feel like living anymore. I felt like I had no purpose.” She said that if she could help one person in her life, her purpose is solved.

Through her social media page, she has announced the third edition of Frontline Assist where she would be giving away clothes and accessories from her closet. The proceeds would go towards helping the emotional welfare of frontline workers. The actress is associating with Sangath. She wrote, “The third edition of Frontline Assist is now live!
