A two day meeting of women foreign Ministers took place in Montreal and brought together more than half of the world’s top women diplomats. Their discussion focused on conflict prevention, democratic growth and elimination of gender based violence.
They also highlighted the importance and the rights and roles of women and girls in the world.. The diplomats from 17 different countries promised to meet regularly. They planted a seed that would grow into a plant with beautiful flowers. Diplomats from Andorra, Bulgaria, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ghana, Guatemala, Honduras, Indonesia, Kenya, Namibia, Norway, Panama, Rwanda, Saint Lucia, South Africa and Sweden attended the meeting.
