Tamanna Chandok is an angel therapist, psychic healer and spiritual coach. She introduced the culture of spiritual retreat with a trip to Pushkar last year with travellers from across the globe and is planning four upcoming retreats in 2017, from mother-child retreat in Dubai and Delhi, senior citizen retreat, retreat for the broken hearted and retreat for singles. “I started Spiritual retreat with the idea of giving travel lovers a platform to experience travelling with an intention for soul growth.

We are constantly travelling for work or leisure, but every time we come back from a holiday, we find the need to take another break, because we don’t feel fulfilled from deep within, so I wanted to create a platform where people can come together, travel, interact, see a new destination as well as go through spiritual growth and increased awareness about life, karmic, energy science and spirituality. Over a period of three days we cover subjects like meditation, sun rise healing, emotional eating, spiritual parenting, past life healing, chakra balancing, life after death and five dimensions of human existence. The places I select are keeping in mind that they are not very commercial, easily accessible and the overall energy of the city is vibrant without being too overbearing or exhausting. Pushkar was wonderful due to the vibration of the place and significance of Brahma energies. Also I will be conducting one in Hrishikesh, Puducherry and Bali and later in Bhutan, Coorg and Peru too. At Pushkar we stayed at Hotel Orchard’s luxury tents amidst marigold fields.

In my upcoming retreats there will be spiritual camps at Bentota, Sri Lanka at a beach side resort, In Ubud, Bali amidst the rice fields, in Hrishikesh on the banks of the river and staying at boutique hotels. On an average for domestic travels the price for the package comes to Rs 36,000 to Rs 52,000 for three nights and four days. International locations may vary depending on the city and duration, but for example the Sri Lanka retreat is Rs 52,000 for four nights five days that includes hotels, sight-seeing, meals and hotel transfers.”
