A 5 K Walkathon is being organised by Mimi Partha Sarathy, founder and managing trustee, श्री Krishna Wellness, Yoga & Cultural Centre, Malleshwaram, Bengaluru. The walk is being hosted to thank Purna Yogacharya Sri T Krishnamcharya (Father of Modern Yoga) and to support Ashwini Charitable Trust to provide yoga education to underprivileged students and sponsor students for enrolling them into internationally renowned and recognised KYM 500 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification Course – a 10 month course which is starting on June 17, 2017.
This gives the students from Ashwini Charitable Trust an opportunity to have an additional career and income source as a certified yoga teacher from one of the best schools in India. Dr CN Ashwathnarayan, MLA, Malleshwaram, will be the guest of honour and Sangeeta Bijlani (Ex Miss India, model, actress and yoga and meditation practitioner) will be the chief guest.
