Visitors to be allowed in Raj Bhavan

The official residence of the Governor, the Raj Bhavan will soon be teeming with visitors. The authorities have thrown the sprawling residence open to the public on all days of the week between 4.30 and 5.30 p.m.The present area totals to 156.14 acres and is home to black buck an endangered species of antelope.

The tour of the sprawling campus would be open from tomorrow and visitors can catch a glimpse of the Durbar Hall, the place where the Ministers are sworn in.They can also view the lawns and the main building that house the office of the Governor. Visitors can also visit the adjoining forest areas and Polo ground as part of the tour. All they have to do is to register at www.tnrajbhavan.gov.in.
