Virat’s school sends soil as blessing

Virat Kohli who looks to be the third captain after Kapil Dev and MS Dhoni to lofe the world cup for the team in the ongoing tournament in England and Wales. Fans and supporters are going all out to send their support for the team, Virat’s former cricket school is expressing its support in a very unique manner.

Host broadcasters Star Sports tweeted on Friday that the soil from Vishal Bharti Public School in Uttam Nagar, where the Indian captain spent a part of his childhood, is sending soil from its premises to London. Kohli started his schooling at Vishal Bharti before moving to Saviour Convent in his ninth grade.

He has come a long way since then, breaking into the Indian team in 2008 and going on to be recognized by commentators and former players as the best batsman in the world across formats at present.  After a thrilling victory against South Africa in the first game of the tournament. India will next face defending champions Australia, who are unbeaten in the two matches they have played thus far. The match will be played on Sunday at The Oval in London.
