Victims leg amputated due to flagpole accident

Rajeswari a 30 year old woman met with an accident caused by a leaning flagpole put up by the AIADMK in Coimbatore. Due to the impact of this, she lost her balance and fell under the wheels of a lorry after her scooter skidded. She is the sole breadwinner for her family.
The accident happened while she was on her way to the office. Due to the accident, her left leg had to be amputated from knee downwards. Her other leg has multiple fractures and there seemed to be no complications. Her family has already spent about Rs 7 lakhs on her treatment. The insurance cover was only for Rs 5 lakhs. The family is seeking financial help from relatives. There has been no response from the government till date. The  Tamilnadu Chief Minister   said that he was not aware of the accident and that there was no court order against flagposts.
