TN free from coronavirus but precautions are needed says CM

Tamilnadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami said that right now Tamilnadu is free from coronavirus but precautions have to be taken. He appealed to the public not to panic but to be cautious and follow guidelines issued in this regard. Health Minister Dr. C.Vijayabhaskar has admitted that the state faces a threat from the neighboring states and asserted that the state has taken all precautionary measures to contain the spread of the dreaded virus.

He urged the public to seek medical attention if fever, sneezing and breathing problems persist. He also requested people to follow the precautions recommended by WHO like frequently washing hands and using a tissue or handkerchief to cover the mouth while sneezing or coughing.
