Government Authorities, various NGO’s approach Foundation regularly whenever need requires. It has following main types of CLOTH schemes with different beneficiaries in mind.
OLD CLOTHES SCHEME – GAJ BHAR KAPDA
Under this scheme members of our organization collect clothes from the society.  Towards this the members of Rajasthan Cosmo Club run various campaigns for collection of old clothes.  For convenience of the residents of that area they are informed in advance, through proper publicity.
The collected clothes are segregated according to size, washed, ironed and packed in poly bags under supervision of experienced staff in our premises.  The reconditioned clothes are then redistributed to needy people and organizations housing destitutes, orphans, old age people, mental and leprosy patients, street children besides victims of natural calamities such as floods, fires, drought, earthquake, Tsunami etc., So far we distributed more than 21 lacs such clothes in past years since inception
NEW CLOTHES SCHEME
Under this scheme we stitch new clothes in-house with the help of professionally employed tailors by collecting clothes and sample bits from Textile traders and manufactures. Every year around 15,000 plus new cloths are distributed to places like cancer institute, old age homes, various slums etc.
So far, we distributed more than 2.1 lacs cloths, garments, bed sheets etc.
NEW SCHOOL UNIFORM
Under this scheme, New School Uniforms are distributed to needy and deserving students. The uniforms are custom tailored to each student’s specifications. The process takes 5 months with identification of schools, children, taking sizes, ordering fabric, stitching and packing. Every year we distribute a minimum of 15,000 plus sets of uniform to as many children bringing a sense of pride that they are no less privileged.
So far we distributed more than 2.55 lacs uniforms in and around Chennai bringing benefit to more than 250 schools totally.
ABOUT THE EVENT
We have adopted more than 60 schools and shall be distributing around 18000 sets of New School Uniform benefitting as many children. The schools selected are mostly government aided or, if privately run, the education is for poor children with minimal fees, wherein there is a need for such school uniform.
We always do this distribution of uniforms in a memorable way as these children are from under privileged background and are from suburban and mofussil areas, viz., Chengelpet, Villipuram, Cuddalore, Kanchipuram, Tindivanam, Tiruvannamalai, Vellore, Tiruvallur, etc.,
RCCF Specializes in spreading smiles to the less fortunate and believes in restoring human dignity by providing them clothes. We also believe this will encourage more people from society to participate in social development works done by such NGO’s.
