The Hindu journalist gets award

The Hindu’s Mumbai correspondent Jyoti Shelar was awarded the first place in the English category of Schizophrenia Research Foundations (SCARF) media for reporting on mental health. She had reported on the suicides of farmers and the impact it had on the mental health of their family members.

The second and third place was won by S.Ramanathan of The News minute and Disha Shetty from The Wire. The awards were distributed by Sudha Seshayyan a physician and orator at a function organised by SCARF.
