T.N. to send 100 students abroad

The Tamil Nadu State government will select 100 students from government and government aided schools and send them abroad for a study tour. This was declared by the School Education Minister K.A. Sengottaiyan.The government has kept a sum of Rs 3 crore for this purpose.

The selected students will get a chance to visit Japan, Germany, China, South Korea, U.S.A., Switzerland, Cambodia, Thailand, Greece, Egypt, France, Italy, Russia, England, Norway, Sweden as well as other European countries. The details of the selection process will be soon unveiled and 25 students will be selected from four disciplines viz science, technology, arts and literature.
