Like every young adventurer, Sidharth loves driving and exploring new places. While doing the same in New Zealand, he came across magnificent sand dunes.
He was intrigued by the idea of sand dunes, which are generally a well-known attraction in desert areas as opposed to the sub-tropical Northland region of New Zealand. Sidharth and his guide explored the dunes before racing down the humongous hills on boogie boards. It proved to be more fun than surfing on water.
About the activity:
• Sandboarding is taking a body board, usually used for surfing on waves, and using it to speed down sand dunes.
• Te Paki recreation reserve is home to a wide range of native plants and animals and magnificent sand dunes.
• Te Paki is a 3 hour drive north from Russell in the Bay of Islands or a 5 hour drive from Auckland
