K-Jo chose to give the part to SRK, who was more than happy
Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ has been grabbing headlines for its star cast, it’s ‘different’ story line and of course, the much-in-news intimate scene between Ranbir Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The film, which also stars Anushka Sharma and Fawad Khan in the leading roles, has set rumour mills abuzz once again.
This time around, reports claim that Shah Rukh Khan has replaced actor Saif Ali Khan in the film. According to reports, Saif shot a cameo for the film last year in London. The actor was expected to shoot a few ‘touch up’ shots during post-production work. However, owing to his hand injury, the actor was advised to rest and hence couldn’t shoot for the film.
As Karan allegedly ran out of options, he chose to give the part to SRK, who was more than happy to shoot the extended cameo. Shah Rukh had stopped by on the sets last year to spend some time with the cast and was also given a special preview of the film’s song which he sang praises of, on Twitter. If these rumours turn out to be true, Shah Rukh will hit the big screen a month earlier than expected.
