Skies Turn Pink In Bhubaneswar After Cyclone Amphan Makes Landfall

Amidst the continuing fight against COVID-19, Cyclone Amphan added to the existing woes after causing massive destruction in West Bengal and Odisha. The super cyclone has reportedly killed 12 persons in Bengal and the heavy rainfall also caused severe damage in several areas in the coastal districts. While power supply and phone networks also took a hit in the states.

However, amid the ongoing calamity the people of Bhubaneswar experienced some respite after the sky in the city turned pink. Skies in Odisha’s capital Bhubaneswar turned pink after the Cyclone Amphan made landfall in the state. Several residents of the locality took pictures of the skies and shared them on social media. “My city is an example that we bloom with grace no matter how stormy the times be,” a used tweeted sharing the pink sky.
