Sing along with Mana Dhanraj & Joshua Costa at GING, Oriental Bar and Kitchen. Current Lead singer of Mana & Co. and Jazz Band Tea for Two, Mana is a versatile vocalist who is equally comfortable singing jazz, RnB and rock. In moments of madness, she can also do a respectable rap. She loves live looping and generates very interesting vocal effects and layers to texture songs. After two years of work, Mana joined the Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music in India for a formal training Jazz, graduating in 2015. While there, she had the opportunity to work on a fusion piece for the Neumann product launch in Chennai, and also collaborated with Fulbright Scholar Alex Pinto on his musical project: “The All India Permit”, which sought to fuse Carnatic with Jazz. She was also mentored by renowned international artists, including Raphaelle Brochet, Natalie John, Magos Herrera, Tom Brislin, Karina Colis, Carolina and Steve Zerlin. Mana co-founded a Bangalore-based music school, ‘The Mela Centre for Learning’, in 2015, where she teaches Jazz vocals to students across a range of ages, besides carrying out various administrative functions. Her most recent endeavour is developing an innovative new syllabus involving teaching Western classical music to first-time learners. Joshua Costa has been playing keyboards and piano from the age of 8. Having studied pop keyboard very initially made him open to playing across various styles such as Pop, Rock and more recently having forayed into Jazz and Blues. Joshua plays with various bands and artists.  To name a few, Colin D’Cruz and Jazz Junction, The Gerard Machado Network, Prakash Sontakke Group, retro setup The Butterfingers, & Classic Wild playing Classic Rock and some progressive rock.
