Second extension given to Jaya probe panel

The State government has given an extension for the second time to the Justice Arumughasamy commission that is probing the circumstances leading to the death of former Chief Minister Jayalalitha. It has been extended for a period of four months. So far several family member, leaders, doctors,IAS and IPS officials have deposed before the commission.

The Commission’s tenure was extended in December for six months and now by another four months. Meanwhile the Commission has directed auditor S.Gurumurthy, editior of a Tamil political weekly to appear on June 28th.
