Travel today has become one of the choicest passions for the modern generation. Our daily lives have become so chaotic that everyone takes short breaks to keep their sanity intact.
Over the years people have spoken about how much one can learn by travelling and seeing other cultures alone, and these days parents have started to use that as an opportunity to bond with their kids and even fill their own basket of travelogues. The hectic city lives of working professionals and schedules of entire families, make the summer holidays of schools the most opportune time to spend time with one another and take that long desired holiday. Here’s a list of people who have recently come back from some fun getaways and share their experience. Here are their stories…

Murtaza Chass, Businessman

Destination: Koh Tao, Thailand

Duration: One week

With: My younger brother, Mustafa Chass

Purpose: Our primary motive to go to this island was to get ourselves our diving certification.

Places covered: Other than the course, we went snorkelling in the Tanote Bay, Mango Bay, Aow Leuk Bay and Koh Nang Yuan (an island close to Koh Tao). We also hiked upto to the highest point in Koh Tao – the John-Suwan Point.

“After the certification, I am in love with the underwater world. I’ll definitely go back to do an advanced and an underwater photography course.”

Highlight: Koh Tao is known to be a diver’s paradise. Beautiful coral and rich marine biodiversity around the island puts this gorgeous island on the top 5 most beautiful dive sites in the world. This little island boasts more than 40 diving schools and is a perfect place to get yourself certified as diving here is cheap compared to the rest of the world.

Food: We ate Thai all day and all night. Best place to eat Thai food on the island is Su Chilli.
