PV Sindu Unveiled T Shirts, Medals and countdown for First Indian Police Martyrs’ Memorial Run

Telangana State Police in association with the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India unveiled the specially designed Finisher’s Medals and T-Shirt for the 1 st Indian Police Martyrs & Memorial Run on Sunday, October 16, 2016. The Run is dedicated to remember the sacrifices made by the men and women of the police forces in the country and build better community engagement and positive public interface with citizens.

Rio Olympic Silver Medalist P V Sindhu graced the occasion to unveil the official T Shirt & specially designed Finishers & Medals. The nation & first Indian Police Martyrs & Memorial Run is expected to have participation from 5000 civilians and another 600 people representing the Central Police Organizations. Citizens can register for the Run online (www.policerun.in) and also at 10 select police stations to build public interface. The Martyr & Memorial Run will have three categories: 2 K | 5K | 10 K and citizens get an opportunity to run along with police personnel from various police forces in India.
