A keen baker, Puja had developed an interest in culinary arts at a very young age. She chose to study in the hospitality industry since this field would provide ample opportunity for its employees to showcase their creative talent as well as the diverse experience she can gain.

Ms. Puja Mishra said, “This is a very proud feeling for me. I am very happy, and at the same time I know that this is a very great responsibility since I am representing our country on a global platform. YCO is an international platform and I believe that it will provide a great exposure for me. I am trying out a lot of new ideas, but at the same time, keeping in mind the basics because that is one of the essential metrics of measurement at the contest.”

Dr. Suborno Bose, Chief Mentor and CEO of IIHM and the Indismart Group, “We are very excited about the third edition of YCO. Puja is one of our most capable students, as evident by her selection out of several other candidates. India has not won in the past two editions, and we definitely hope that she will be able to win the trophy this year. The competition is definitely tougher but we wish her the best of luck!

The third edition of YCO 2017 will be held in India from 28th January to 3rd February 2017 across Delhi, Bengaluru, Pune and Kolkata. The event will showcase contestants from over 50 countries competing for a trophy and a cash prize of $10,000.
