The police have received more than hundred complaints through the mobile number they released a day ago. According to police sources, Thirunavukkarasu and his associates have been sexually harassing hundreds of girls and young women but no one came forward to lodge a complaint. The incident came to light only after a college girl lodged a complaint. The CB CID Police released a mobile number 94884 42993 and requested the victims affected by the gang to lodge complaints on this number and said that their information will be kept secret.
Within 15 hours of the release of the number, hundreds of complaints were lodged against the gang. It is said that Thirunavukkarasu was a financier and he lent money to many poor women in the area when they failed to return the money it is alleged that he abused and harassed them.
