PM to visit Chennai

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Chennai to deliver the 56th Convocation address at the Indian Institute of Technology at the Institute’s Students Activity Centre. To avoid any traffic congestion, he has opted to fly by a chopper.
More than 1,000/ policemen have been deployed inside and outside the campus. About 600 traffic police have been deployed from the Airport to IIT in case the PM  has to travel by road. An additional 50 CCTV cameras have been installed for security purposes. Ahead of his visit, the PM had tweeted that he looked forward to being with the brightest minds of India and asked for ideas for his speech on the NaMo App. The Prime Minister will also address the Singapore India Hackathon 2019 at the IIT-M Research Park.
