Equal pay for equal work for both men and women is one of the Directive Principles of our Indian Constitution. This policy has been introduced by Adobe Systems in India as well as in the U.S. to close the gender wage gap by the end of this year.
In India, Adobe said that female employees are currently earning 99% of what their male counterparts earn and that they are working towards closing the remaining gap. Officials said that they were excited to announce pay parity and aimed at abolishing gender pay disparity in the technology industry.
