Nuns at Saint Francis Mission Home near Kottayam in Kerala go about their daily chores like tending to the garden, meeting people, visiting the sick and saying their prayers in the chapel. However there is a storm beneath the calm Some of the nuns are under threat of excommunication because they dared to speak against Bishop Franco Mulakkal.
They were served notice by the church to vacate the Convent and to join the communities in far off places of the country . They were also threatened of a reduction in thier measly monthly allowance and bodily harm as well The investigation into the nun rape case is almost complete but Bishop Franco has not yet been convicted. The chargesheet is ready and will be submitted soon according to the Kottayam Superintendent of Police.
