Shankar’s big-budget sci-fi flick 2.0, starring Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson, will have a theatrical release in China, and that the number of screens will be high. Now, another news is that the makers of Ajith-starrer Nerkonda Paarvai are also keen on a release in China, which is currently the biggest market in the world.
In the recent past, many Indian films made it big in China market, like Dangal, Secret Superstar and Andhadhun. Sridevi’s Mom, joined the list recently. Films with innovative content have proved their merit in Chinese BO, and hence, it is interesting to see if Nerkonda Paarvai could become the first movie from Kollywood to achieve this feat.
Directed by H Vinoth, the movie, which is the remake of Amitabh Bachchan-starrer Pink, is expected to hit the screens in India in August. Vidya Balan, Shraddha Srinath, Adhik Ravichandran, Rangaraj Pandey, and others play crucial roles in the movie, which will have Kalki Koechlin in a cameo.
