New entrants in the Indo-Western fusion music scene, the Indian Jam Project is the trio that takes popular soundtracks and gives them an Indian classical makeover. Tushar Lall, Samay Lalwani and Prathamesh Salunke, college friends, shot to fame with their first video which was a cover of the Game of Thrones theme song.
Their four videos, released on YouTube, already have 500k+ views and counting. In fact, they have just completed their first collaboration with Sarangi artist, Sandeep Mishra for the Project’s cover of Klaus Badelt’s ‘He’s A Pirate’ from Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl.
And now, they grace the Black Pearl itself, Pearl 2016, at BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus.
