The dynamic and ever-inspiring Dr Maria Zeena Johnson, Pro Chancellor of Sathyabama University and Telugu actor Naga Chaitanya launched the UBA national level basketball tournament in the presence of players from the world’s most prestigious basketball federation the NBA on 16 February 2017 in Chennai at the Dr MGR Indoor Stadium the Sathyabama University.
The UBA is being held in a grand and never-before manner in Tamilnadu and Dr Maria Zeena is sparing no effort to promote sports in her home state. As Naga Chaitanya spoke to the audience in English, Telugu and Tamil, deafening cheers erupted and overjoyed students showed their admiration for the young star.
