Jaypore opened its first store at Indiranagar, Bengaluru over a fun-filled musical soirée. Founded in 2012 to celebrate unique, made-in-India handloom fashion and handicrafts, e-commerce retailer Jaypore has found its place in the life of every modern Indian woman. Launched by entrepreneur Puneet Chawla and designer Shilpa Sharma, the intent was to present the best kept secrets of Indian craft and design in contemporary iterations for a global audience. Following a successful six-year journey online and a newly launched store in Delhi in March 2018, Jaypore introduces a new chapter with their second store launch in Bengaluru with the most sought after menswear, kidswear, personal care, vintage textiles, contemporary apparel and more.

Spread across 2,500 square feet, the Bengaluru store offers a range of design aesthetics to suit the modern Indian lifestyle showcasing the best of apparel, jewellery, style accessories, home decor and craft capsules from Jaypore’s private label along with hand-picked designers, artisans and craft communities from across India. Besides an array of premium offerings like Benarasi sarees, precious silver jewellery and more.

Shopping is made easier with the use of tablets and digital screens across the store. The Jaypore store also promises to be a place for cultural exchanges, performances and conversations, thus providing a holistic overview of India’s rich cultural landscape.

“Bengaluru is an emerging and promising market, so it was a natural step to open our second store here. We received a great response to our travelling Pop-up last year and believe that this is the right time to provide customers with an offline experience. We want the store to be an extension of Jaypore.com, where customers can come and experience the product.” says Puneet Chawla, Co-Founder & CEO, Jaypore.

“Our curation is going to be what every modern Indian woman wants in her wardrobe. We are exploring various textile hubs and destinations to bring the best of India to our customers. Customers can expect new designs stories with a whole a large selection to support it,” elaborates Rakhi Mahajan, Head of Retail & Sourcing, Jaypore.
