Gautham Menon’s short film Karthik Dial Seytha Yenn was released recently and is been trending since then as many memes and trolls are going around. Amidst the Karthik getting baby-zoned memes a new question aroused among the netizens regarding whom Jessie was really married to, Abraham or Roy or Abraham Roy. The team Vinnaithandi Varuvaya that is A.R Rahman, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Trisha and Simbu came up with a 12 minute 24 sec long short film to address the current pandemic and to give a hint about the sequel of the 2010 blockbuster.

Titled as Karthik Dial Seytha Yenn the short film revolves around the two love birds as Karthik is trying to write a story for his next film. But nothing seemed to be on his mind. He takes the phone and dials a number and Trisha takes as Jessie on the other side. Karthik opens up about his feelings to Jessie and tells that he needs her no matter what. But Jessie handles the romantic flaws keenly and encourages him to write, as many online streamers are there to help amidst lockdown.

She also confesses to Karthik that she fell in love with her now-husband Roy after watching Mouna Ragam and had babies with him four years later. Jessie goes on to say that she is very much fond of Karthik and tries to make him understand that she sees him like her third child as she already has two children with Roy. This is where people who watched Vinnaithandi Varuvaya got a bit confused.

In the climax of VTV, Jessie would say that she got married to Abraham and only because of him, Jessie wouldn’t talk to Karthik in New York. However the name Roy, Jessie used in Karthik Dial Seytha Yenn to mention her husband, was used in VTV to mention the guy whom she was supposed to marry in Kerala. Now the netizens who watched both the film got confused and are shooting questions on whom Jessie really got married to, it’s Abraham? Or Roy? Or Abraham Roy?
