Kama Ayurveda and Caffé Palladio unveiled fiori d’arancio, an exclusive scented candle.

This limited edition candle is inspired by the aromas of Sicily and has been crafted exclusively for Caffé Palladio, Jaipur. Known for its vibrant sunny landscapes, Sicily is bright, charming and lush all at the same time. The ever present scents of Sicilian orange trees exude an air of warmth and pure joy. Fiori d’arancio is a handmade soy wax candle with the essential oils of Lime, Neroli and Cypress. As it wafts, its aroma transports one to the sunlit gardens of Sicily, Italian orange blossoms, dense bougainvillea, broody cedars and briny sprays of the sea.

On the occasion of the launch, hosts Vivek Sahni, Founder & CEO, Kama Ayurveda and Barbara Miolini, Founder, Caffé& Bar Palladio warmly welcomed guests such as Jane Jagger, Bharati Kher, Subodh Gupta, David Hare, Suhel Seth, Subashish Mandal, Nicole Farhi, Sunita Sekhawat, Yash Agarwal, Saachi Thahyamal, Kichu Dandiya, Saurabh Ailawadi, Shweta Ailawadi, Aavriti Jain, Astha Jagwani, Devika Arora, Mallika Dua amongst others. A magnificent installation of the Kama candles was specially created by Miolini for this launch.

It was a magical evening celebrating beauty in every element, alight with the glow of the candles amidst the lush enchanted garden setting.  The sparkling scent of fresh mandarins along with shimmering light of exquisite votives recreated the beautiful landscapes of Sicily.The saffron-hued pavilions and pistachio marble terrace of the stunning Caffé at Bar Palladio, brought to life the exotic loveliness of Visconti’s masterpiece “Il Gattopardo” – a world of sun-drenched palazzi and perfumed gardens. The food was a gastronomic and visual delight; the dinner menu carried influences of the candle’s ingredients, such as Lime, sweet Neroli and meditative Cypress essential oils, elevating the evening’s experience to a truly sensorial one.

Speaking on the occasion, Vivek Sahni says, “Bar Palladio has become the go-to restaurant and de facto cultural centre in the city. With its mirrored salons, stiff Negronis and peacocks silently raking the garden with their tails, it has given Jaipur a retreat that satisfies discerning tastes. Drawing inspiration from the like-mindedness and creative energy of both our brands, we created the fiori d’ arancio candle. A distinctive creation that is inspired by the aromas of Sicily – it will be available exclusively at Caffé Palladio and select Kama Ayurveda stores across India.”

“We take great pride in associating with like-minded brands as it helps us push our creative boundaries and offer something distinct to our customers. Tonight was all about telling the Kama Ayurveda and Caffé Palladio story through this lovely, limited edition candle.” – Barbara Miolini, Owner, Caffé Palladio.
