Film-maker and screen-writer K.G. George has been selected for the J.C. Daniel award for 2016.He has been chosen for the award considering his wholesome contribution to Malayalam cinema. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will present the award at the State film awards function in Palakkad on October 15. Mr. George is one of the leading lights of the revolutionary changes witnessed by Malayalam cinema in the 1970s.
