Indian Terrain appoints new brand Ambassador

Menswear brand Indian Terrain has appointed cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni as its brand ambassador at a signing event in Chennai attended by Dhoni and the brand’s executives. Indian Terrain Fashion’s managing director said that Dhoni’s representation looks to spearhead brand popularity moving forward, as the company continues to expand its retail footprint across the country and looks to target younger men via new products.

This association will help the brand in further strengthening its leadership position in the southern markets and aid rapid expansion in the north and east markets. With this new start, the brand is also looking to further refine its offerings under Terrain Jeans and build a unique collection for young Indians. Indian Terrain Fashions Limited retails smart-casual clothing in the premium section of the market.

The brand opened its first brick-and-mortar store in 2000 and was listed in 2011 after it de-merged from its parent company.The brand now has over 160 exclusive brand stores across India as well as a presence in over 1,350 other format stores and an e-commerce presence. Indian Terrain has reported its turnover as over Rs 900 crore
