India calls for justice

The trial in the gruesome Kathua rape case began today. The Jammu and Kashmir government has appointed two Special Public Prosecutors for trial in the sensational case wherein a 8 year old girl was raped and brutally murdered.

She was held captive in a small village temple for a week and was sedated and sexually assaulted and finally bludgeoned to death. Candle light protests were held across India and thousands of people joined in the protests.
