Present around 318 kilometres from Bangalore is Shringeri, a place of historical importance. It is known for its Sharada Peetham, which was one of the first 4 Peethams established by legendary saint Adi Shankaracharya. There are also many temples and buildings with beautiful architecture, which make it one of the most popular tourist places in Karnataka.
