Hamleys hosted its Bangalore audition for the second season of ‘Ramp Camp’.  This event gives children from across the country an opportunity to walk the ramp at ‘The Hamleys Show’ during the Lakme Fashion Week held in Mumbai in August, 2016.

25 children will walk the much coveted ramp at the Lakme Fashion Week Winter/ Festive 2016. These selected finalists will be trained by one of the finest grooming experts in the industry, Mr. Neeraj Gaba, handpicked from 8 cities across India. All the participant kids have gone through a curated process of selection, starting from getting registered at the Hamleys store, attending a dedicated workshop by Gaba, called ‘Ramp Camp’, leading up to the final round of auditions.

Karandeep Singh – Business Head, Hamleys, India says “Parents today desire to showcase the skills of their children on larger than life and on nationally acclaimed platforms. At Hamleys, we are happy to bring one such opportunity to the kids which allow them to walk the ramp at a premier fashion event such as the Lakme Fashion Week. It is a wonderful occasion for us to celebrate and inspire us to organize other such exciting, path breaking properties at Hamleys”.

“I am thrilled to once again associate with Hamleys for their upcoming show at Lakme Fashion Week. I am looking forward to meeting the young talent over the next few weeks for the Ramp Camp, the ‘Kingdom of Flearn – Fun & Learn’. It is a great initiative to build their confidence as they get ready to trot on the runway. Being around kids brings out the child in me and I can’t wait to go back!” says mentor and grooming guru, Neeraj Gaba.
