Former Indian cricketer’s car seized for violating lockdown rules

Former Indian cricketer and all rounder Robin Singh’s car was seized by the Chennai Police for allegedly violating the rules of the lockdown. Reports say that Robin  Singh was proceeding from his residence in Adyar to Uthandi to purchase vegetables.
As per the lockdown rules, people were granted permission to travel within a radius of 2 kms from their residence and that too only to purchase essential commodities. The Tamilnadu government has imposed a total lockdown till the end of this month to curb the spread of the deadly coronavirus. Robin Not only played for India, he was associated with the Indian team as a fielding coach after his retirement from international cricket.
